Budget Implementation Status
Law 31/2022 of 23 December on the General State Budget for 2023 established, in accordance with the provisions of Article 65.1 of the Constitution, a total sum of
€8,431,150.00 for the maintenance of the Royal Family and the Royal Household for the 2023 financial year.
These budgets for the 2023 financial year have been extended to the 2024, 2025 and 2026 financial years.
On 18 December 2025, His Majesty the King, in the exercise of the powers conferred upon him by Article 65.1 of the Constitution and pending the passing of the General State Budget Act for 2026, approved the allocation, for the year 2026, of the total sum allocated in the General State Budget for the year 2023 for the maintenance of the Royal Family and Household.
